Screenshot-to-Action is an Android app from NP Production House that turns a screenshot into a saved item or a reminder. It has no account or login, and it has no server of ours. The items you save stay on your phone.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob, which is explained below. This page is only about the app. For this website, see the Dodo Storyland Privacy Policy.
When you confirm an item, the app saves the title, date, time and place you confirmed, the text that was read from the screenshot, any amount or web link found in it, whether you marked it complete, and the time of any reminder you set. It also keeps a copy of the screenshot in the app's private storage so you can see it again.
Your sound and language choices are stored on the phone too. All of this stays on your device. You can delete one item from its screen, or every saved item from Settings, Storage. Removing the app removes everything it stored.
Text is read from your screenshot on your phone by a text-recognition model that is included inside the app. The screenshot and the text read from it are not sent to us.
Notifications: asked for only when you set a reminder, so the reminder can appear. You can refuse and still use the rest of the app.
Alarms: used to fire a reminder at the time you chose. After a restart, reminders are scheduled again.
Photos: the app does not ask for access to all your photos. You pick one screenshot with the system picker, or share one to the app.
The app shows ads from Google AdMob in a few places: on the Saved and Upcoming lists and under the Completed list. To show ads, Google may use your device's advertising ID and basic device and network information, and may use cookies or similar technology. We do not give advertisers your saved items, your screenshots or the text read from them.
Where the law requires it, such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the app shows Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and you can change your choice later from Settings, Data and Privacy, Ad choices. You can also reset or turn off your advertising ID in your Android settings. Google explains how it uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Screenshot-to-Action is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13.
If the app starts handling information differently, this page will be updated before the change is released.
